In the Base Camp.

March 22 – arrived to the Base Camp at a height of 3650 m.

The west face of Dhaulaguri is just above us and looks very impressive.

March 23 - the Base Camp will be opened and hallowed at 9:00 am according to the ritual called “pudjia”.

Next couple days will be a time for acclimatization.

The weather is relatively fine and very typical for this season; however, in the afternoon it snows every day.
