04.11.2003 BABANOV and KOSHELENKO SUMMITED NUPTSE.
Just right now I have had a call from the BC of Nuptse. They were on the top at November 2nd. They assault in the alpine style in the wild frost -30C and strong wind. They started at 8.40 local time and were on the summit at 7.30 p.m. And again in ABC - at 0.30 a.m. A bit later - all the details.

04.11.2003 Today at 6 p.m. Valeri and Yuri called from BC of Nuptse.
Voices were exited, happy and frankly, I could not feel extortion but the feeling of the happiness. Details

Valeri reports: We were stopped with a hurricane at 7000 m. After it, we descended to our base camp
