02.11.2002 The hurricane winds and the end of permit stopped the expedition.

04.10.2002 I climbed the low rock pillar and reached the snow and ice.
Now at 5 700 m. Pillar is grandiose. (Report from October 4th)

27.09.2002 Because of the absence of weather I can not step over 5650 meters.

20.09.2002 We reached the Base Camp at September 19th.
It situated at the altitude 5200 meters just before the South Face of Nuptse. Grandiose ground!

No acclimatising on Khumbu. it costs 4000 US $ extra....
