The Base Camp had been officially opened on April 26, and the prayerful flags had been stretched.
On April 27-29, Valeri was carrying his equipment to the Advanced Base Camp (ABC) which temporarily located on 5750 m.
Later on, he is planning to transfer the ABC on 5900 m.
Due to the remoteness of the West Face of Chomo Lonzo from the Base Camp, all the way from the BC to the ABC takes from seven to nine hours.
Considering the fact that the entire work has to be done by himself, it is a great job.
April 30 is the rest day. The next departure is planning to be done on May 1st. The weather is getting better, so Valeri wants to take good use of lovely days.
