On April 22, Valeri, the caravan of ten yaks and four yak men crossed the Shau La pass. The liaison officer was sick, so he had to stay in Kharta.
Finally on April 24, the expedition reached the Base Camp on altitude of 4750 m.
There is a lot of snow, and it is snowing all the time. The weather forecast’s improvement is expected by the beginning of May.
