Valeri’s telephone call from Kathmandu.

On April 12 Valeri came to Kathmandu. Even though it was a first day after the strike, people were friendly and all shops and markets were opened.

Today he is going to buy some food to take with him. In the morning on April 15 he will leave Kathmandu.

On April 22 Valeri considers to be in the Base Camp of Chomo Lonzo.

On his way to Kathmandu, in Delhi airport, Valeri was surprised to see a huge picture of Garhwal Meru Central Peak where he made his solo climb in 2001.

Expedition is going to begin and information will be received from the Base Camp.
