  На сегодняшний день является единственным представителем из России, имеющим международный диплом Профессионального Гида UIAGM.
  С осени 2002 года входит в международную ассоциацию горных гидов.

On April 12 Valery and Victor started the acclimatization ascent on the North-Western side on the Czech route but came back from 5000 m because of a heavy snowfall.

On April 13 they were having rest in the Base Camp. The next day they decided to give it one more try and went for acclimatization ascent from the northern side on the classical route. The goal was to climb till 6400m. However, after 2 days Valery and Victor had to go back again because of the high risk of avalanches and permanent menace of serac collapse.

Should be added; that just one day before they start ascent, there was a huge snow-slip which had damaged the major part of fixed ropes of the Korean expedition on the classical route.

Now Valery and Victor are in the base camp and consider the actual situation.
