March 31 – we climbed up to 6000 m. It snows every day which slows down our acclimatization.
April 1 – came back to Base Camp (4700 m). There is only other Czech team of Martin Minarik besides ours. He is planning to climb solo the classical route of Dhaulagiri, but since the weather is unstable, it is harder to move on faster.
April 2 – came back to our Base Camp (3700 m). So far, we feel very good.
April 3 – it is a rest day for us. Today two Spanish teams came to an altitude of 3700 m. They are waiting for the helicopter to arrive in order to bring their equipment to the Base Camp at 4700 m. Their porters refused to go further because of the bad road conditions. According to the weather forecast, it will be snowing all weekend.
Our further plans:
April 7 – attempt to make one more acclimatization push to 7500 m.
